The Tribal Affairs Department, Nagaland, is claiming that for many of the schemes work orders are yet to be issued, which means that works are yet to start. Be as it may be the truth of the claim has to be verified and the RPP will closely monitor the implementation of the schemes.

At the same time, the RPP is pained that out of the 32 schemes in total, the lion’s share of 22 schemes are in Dimapur, Kohima, and Mokokchung alone. Whereas Kiphire, Noklak, and Peren recorded nil schemes, Zunheboto, Phek and Wokha had only one each. Such lopsided policy making is not only bad governance but tasteless.

As part of its monitoring activities, the RPP will soon make public knowledge the 2018-19 scheme as well. For any further queries, the general public/whistleblowers may contact us at risingpeoplesparty@gmail.com
